Developed by Josh Brill, The Yoga of Guitar is guided by yogic principles that promote a state of harmony within yourself using proper guitar position, technique, and musicality in a meditative, relaxing, and efficient way.
The Yoga of Guitar is both a type of yoga practice (non-asana) and a guitar practice. It can function as a way to learn the guitar, a tool to experience greater sense of peace and ease within one’s self as a meditation practice and of course, both at the same time.
Many people learn the guitar in the hardest way possible. They are rarely taught the proper technique that actually makes it easier to play and are never taught how to approach the guitar relaxed and yogic state of being.
Using the ancient science of Yoga as a guide, the Yoga of Guitar offers a new way to learn the guitar and yourself. Imagine what it would be like for every note and chord you play to be beautiful, fun, and peaceful.
